Evolved expertise.

How have well considered approaches produced the best possible solutions for our customers? The following facts tell their own tale. The story began in December 1983 with the establishment of CTS GmbH.

1984 - 2000

1984 Terminal started up in the port of Cologne-Niehl in January, a container crane served a storage area of approx. 8,000 square metres
1989 "Albatros" combined load transport link relocated from Cologne-Eifeltor to Niehl, thereby providing a direct link to the sea ports of Bremerhaven and Hamburg
1991 10,000 square metres added to the terminal area and container crane EK 17 commissioned
1996/1998 "Depot Service Center" established at Molenkopf terminal together with an additional crane
1999 "Rail Service Center" opened at Westkai terminal, a further crane commissioned, train block transport implemented to and from Rotterdam
2000 Antwerp pier opened with crane EK 18 (with a span of up to 12 ISO-Ctr. over water, it is the biggest crane system along the River Rhine)

2001 - 2010

2003 Quality system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
2005 New EK 19 crane commissioned (same model as EK 18)
2008 Storage halls demolished to expand the storage area by 21,000 square metres
2009
Office building extended to become a 3-storey facility.

AEO certification

2014 ISPS certification
2015 comissioning of Terminal Köln-Nord
2016 implementing a RF-code system via GPS/WLan for pitch organisation
